ISILDUR 1 AT THE TOP OF THE LIST

Since Isildur1 started to play online poker at the high stakes tables in September, there has not been a single week that we had not heard from him winning or losing some of the biggest pots ever.

This mysterious poker player, who does not want to reveal his identity, has played against the biggest poker stars in the online poker world, obtaining in some occasions much better results than in others.

Only a few days ago, he lost $2.000.000 against Brian Hatings, and since them we have not heard from him again, but surely he will surprised us all soon.

MORE RELEVANT POKER PEOPLE

The previous entry of this blog showed the names of some of the poker personalities more relevant during this year.
In today’s entry we will keep completing this list, becoming closer to the number one, who by the way is not going to be revealed today.

Therefore, in the position number five is Annie Duke, who has been one of the players more involved in every single poker charity event. Moreover, her performance in the TV show “Celebrity Apprentice” brought poker closer to so many people.

In the position number four is Tom Dwan, who is without any doubt one of the best online poker players and who never stop surprising us with brilliant ideas like the “Million Dollar Challenge”.

In the third position is Mike Sexton, whose crucial role in the development of poker was awarded this year as he entered the Poker Hall of Fame.

And lastly, in the position number two is Joe Cada, who became an authentic poker star after having won the WSOP 2009.

MORE NOTICEBALE POKER PERSONALITIES

A new list has just been elaborated by CasinoCityTimes with all the poker personalities that had attracted more attention during 2009, whether playing online poker, taking part at the best live tournaments or being related in any possible way to the poker industry.

In the number 10 of this list is Vanessa Rousso, who during this year has received more media attention than never before. Among her biggest achievements are the second position at the National Heads Up, her participation at the WSOP, where she arrived to the cash positions in 4 occasions and her performance in Poker Stars Million.

In the number 9 is Darvin Moon, a player who had never played online poker in his entire life and that surprised everybody when he arrived to the November Nine as a chip leader.

In the eighth position is Jeffrey Pollack, who used to be the WSOP commissioner, and that surprised us all when he resigned from this position only a few days after the celebration of November Nine.

In the seventh place is Jeffery Lisandro, who managed to cash a total of six times in the last WSOP edition and become one of the few players that were able to win three gold bracelets in the same year edition.

In the sixth position is Phil Ivey, who is probably the best poker player in the world and managed to win other two bracelets at this year WSOP edition apart from arriving to the November Nine.
